ask for another scan then they should take her in for a DC. not let her miscarry. could lead to all sorts like hemeraging.
shes like 5 months gone she will have to pass a child not cells. surely they wouldnt send her home for that.
sounds weird.
lost my sons 20th jan 09. at 22 weeks i had to give birth to him
What do you think? Answer below!

they really should have explained to her what to expect. At 18 weeks, I’m not sure if her body would/could have a normal miscarriage. I think she would need to deliver the baby.
Haven’t got the answers you want but I am really sorry for your friends loss! Xx
she’ll have to get a D&C
I dont think there should be a miscarriage on its own at this stage in her pregnancy, there should be a d & e.
i miscarried at 6 weeks but didn’t start to expell the baby until just over 12 weeks… it may take a while then again it may not.. did the ultrasound confirm that he baby was a certain age?? i found out at my 12 week scan that my baby was no bigger than 6 weeks so i lost it 6 weeks ago… within a few days the bleeding started..
